Parsel changelog ================ Information, where it belongs. Newest first. Plain text on purpose. Unreleased ---------- - Fill the whole form: Shift + Right Arrow accepts the suggestion and fills every other empty field that matches one value from the same source. Fields it can't match stay empty, and the cursor waits in the first one. Works after typing a few letters, too. - Ghost text sits inline in the field, at the field's own text position and size. - New sources: Word documents, PowerPoint slide shows (on-device OCR), Excel tables, text files and images in Edge. - New destinations: Excel cells (the column header is the label; Right Arrow accepts, Tab moves on) and standard text boxes in Windows desktop apps. - Spreadsheet rows: after you accept a value from one row, the other columns of that row are waiting in the next fields. - Résumés: the name and title at the top are recognized; the name splits into first and last. - Better reading: table columns label every row; addresses with suites and units; bare web addresses; LinkedIn kept apart from the website; date of loss for claims; group numbers on insurance cards; fill-in blanks ignored; a labeled total beats table line items. - More reliable: Outlook and Word bodies are read in full when you switch away; OCR reads small text more accurately. - The Parsel window: a weekly overview of what you moved, apps, settings and privacy. - First public preview for Windows 10 21H2+ and Windows 11 (x64). - Click a field: when exactly one value on screen fits, it is already waiting as ghost text. - Right Arrow accepts, Esc dismisses, typing narrows, Tab is untouched. - Three match modes: context (empty field), prefix and infix. - Source marker on every suggestion (for example Invoice.pdf, Outlook, Clipboard). - Tray: Pause, Exclude app or window. Known password managers excluded by default. - Supported: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge (web, PDF viewer, images, text files), Notepad, Microsoft Excel (source and destination), Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook desktop (sources), Windows desktop apps with standard text boxes (destination), Adobe Acrobat Reader (source, via Windows OCR). - Free trial, no account. A Pro license key removes the limit; Pro pricing announced at launch. Known limitations - Admin-elevated windows are unsupported. - The suggestion overlay is visible in screen sharing. - English only; East Asian IMEs are not yet supported. - Windows 10 may show a capture border around a window being read with OCR. - Only the applications listed above are supported.
